Lois,
It’s been a very long time. I was terribly sorry to learn about Wally’s death, which I found out about only by getting a rejected email from his address. I went onti the UCSC website and read the memorial there. I miss him, and I miss the lovely weekends visiting you and Wally in Santa Cruz back when I was doing my Bay Area editorial visits.
I’m writing now because two Princeton friends, Henry and Mary Reath, have moved to Santa Cruz, and I thought I would make an introduction. Henry is a publishing friend, and former president of Doubleday. He and Mary are really nice. If you’d like I’ll be happy to make the introductions. I’m sure you’ll like them.

It would be great to hear from you.
