BirdsCaribbean is pleased to release a Call for Proposals for projects beginning in 2023. This call involves two existing funds: the David S. Lee Fund for the Conservation of Caribbean Birds and the Betty Petersen Conservation Fund , as well as a new award, the James A. Kushlan Research and Conservation Fund. We recently launched this third fund, intended to promote waterbird research, thanks to the generosity of Dr. James A. Kushlan. Read more about our first endowed fund here.
The deadline for the 2023 award applications is Friday November 25, 2022, 11:59 pm EDT
Review and announcements of awardees is anticipated to be completed by January 2023.
